A rare lead 'curse tablet' from the Greco-Roman world with text on both sides (not yet deciphered).

These tablets have been used for various purposes: to ask help from the Gods or a deceased person, to compel a curse, as love spells or to help the dead.
The text is scratched in tiny letters on both sides after which they were rolled, folded or nailed to the wall of the temple.

Size: ± 24 x 26,2 x 0,6 mm

Condition: the very thin lead is in fair condition, with visible signs of being folded in ancient times. Fairly fragile and to be handled with care.
