Voorzijde: Buste Philips II naar rechts. Muntmeesterteken Antwerpen (handje) tussen jaartal 15 71.
Omschrift: PHS.D.G.HISP.Z.REX.DVX.BRA.
Keerzijde: Gekroond Bourgondisch kruis en wapen, vuurijzer aan weerszijden.
Omschrift: DOMINVS.MIHI.ADIVTOR.
AR 1/5 Philipsdaalder with stamp of Holland (lion) in beaded border.
Obverse: Bust of Philip II to right. Mint mark Antwerp (hand) between date 15 71.
Reverse: Crowned Burgundian cross and shield, flint to the left and right.

In 1573 Prince William of Orange ordered to add provincial counterstamps to all coins in excess of 1/10 daalder.
They funded the Dutch Revolt by bringing the coins back in circulation at an increased value.
