China, collection of 8 Cantonese gouaches on rice paper
Qing Dynasty, ca 1850-1880
A collection of 8 Cantonese gouaches on rice paper, each one framed in a white frame and depicting a different scene. Included are a sword-swallower, juggler, magician, etc.
The gouaches have all been framed in the 1950's with cardboard on the back and hook for hanging on the wall. The gouaches are in mixed condition, some are very good, some have some visible wear.
