Sardinian Nuragic bronze figure of a standing warrior. He is wearing an elaborate headdress / helmet and is standing widespread, holding left hand on his hip, the other hand upwards. The diagonal hole in the right hand indicates the figure was probably holding a spear.

Good quallity, excellent details and appealing patina with traces of cuprite.

These iconic statues from the Nuragic period are excessively rare.

The Sardinian so-called bronzetti represent scenes of the everyday life of the Nuragic people.
This culture is best known for its bronze statuettes and the 'nuraghi' that give the culture its name. Nuraghi are circular defensive towers-fortresses in the form of truncated cones.
