During the Medieval period, an acorn was a symbol of fertility, new life, growth and regeneration. It functioned as a protective talisman, with roots in both ancient Celtic and Germanic traditions which viewed the oak tree as sacred.

As the seed of the sacred oak, the acorn was deeply connected to nature’s cycles of renewal. It was a popular motif to represent the potential for new life and were considered lucky charms, believed to bring prosperity and act as a talisman against evil spirits or misfortune.
Drawing from the proverb "Like the mighty oak that grows from a tiny seed," the pendant symbolized endurance, potential, and the slow, persistent growth of a new project or life.
