Engraved end-cap of late Medieval knife
Period: 15th century
A finely engraved sheet copper-alloy end-cap from a late Medieval knife. Oval in cross-section with one longitudinal soldered seam, slightly tapering in shape. Overall finely decorated with engraved figure of a Lady and a bearded man, both are standing under an arched doorway. A head of a bearded man is engraved on the flat part of the cap.
