China, Yixing teapot with gold relief and Qianlong seal
Period: 20th century
Chinese red Yixing teapot with matching lid. Decorated with four relief molded panels in gold (24K) on a floral or geometric background. The two main panels show Immortals in a typical landscape. The side panels, handle, spout and lid are richly decorated in gold with crane birds, kite, sword and other designs. The bottom is marked with a Qianlong seal mark.
The teapot is in very good condition, minor signs of wear.
