Necklace with Roman turquoise glass and rock crystal beads in a handcrafted design with triple pendants. The Roman beads are carefully restrung and wire-wrapped with modern materials and a decorative jasseron chain with clasp.

Total length: ± 40 cm

Central crystal bead: ± 18,4 x 10,6 mm

Good solid condition, wearable. Restrung with modern materials, spacer beads and fittings. Signs of wear consistent with age and use.

The wire-wrapping technique, dating back to around 2000 BC, was a favoured method among ancient jewellery makers of many ancient civilizations. Renowned for its versatility and durability, this technique was cherished throughout history for creating intricate and timeless designs.
