Roman Bead Rings

Rings with Ancient Roman Beads

Our Roman bead rings combine authentic ancient beads with modern ring settings and construction materials. Some designs feature a single central bead, while others arrange several beads together in one composition.

Differences in colour, form and surface are part of the character of the ancient beads. These individual qualities influence the proportions and appearance of every finished ring.

Roman Glass and Other Materials

Many rings in this collection feature ancient Roman glass beads in shades of blue, green, turquoise, red and amber. Other examples may use rock crystal, stone or different ancient materials. The product page records the estimated date, material, measurements and condition of the beads.

Designed to Suit the Beads

Every ring is designed and made by hand in the Netherlands. The setting is created to suit the particular bead or combination of beads, so no two finished rings are exactly the same.

The ancient beads are combined with a modern ring setting and, in some designs, modern spacer beads or other decorative elements. The materials and construction vary according to the individual design.

Ring Size and Fit

The inner measurements of each ring are stated on its product page. Because some designs have an open, irregular or asymmetrical form, the fit may differ from that of a standard ring. Please check the listed dimensions carefully or contact us before ordering if you would like help assessing the fit.

Caring for Your Ring

Remove the ring before washing your hands, bathing or using cosmetics and cleaning products. Avoid pressure or impact against hard surfaces. After wearing, wipe the modern setting gently with a soft, dry cloth and store the ring separately.
