Egyptian Bead Bracelets

Bracelets with Ancient Egyptian Beads

Our collection of bracelets features authentic ancient Egyptian beads, each carefully selected for its distinct history, vibrant colour, and timeless charm. Depending on the individual design, these historical treasures may include beautifully aged faience, ancient glass, or hand-carved natural stones.

To ensure these millennia-old beads can be worn safely today, we combine them with high-quality modern wires, spacer beads, links and clasps. Unless a product description states otherwise, the bracelet itself and all construction materials are contemporary.

Fit and Construction

Product pages detail bead diameters, lengths, and styles (clasped, linked, or flexible designs). The flexible bracelets are crafted with flexible modern wire that gently opens to slip over your hand before safely returning to its original shape, offering ultimate comfort and ease of wear.

Custom adjustments are often possible through our Dutch artisans; please contact us before ordering.

Egyptian Faience and Other Materials

Faience was widely used in ancient Egypt for decorative beads and sacred amulets. It is made largely from quartz and was often coloured blue or green. This fascinating material is celebrated for its lustrous, glazed finish and held deep cultural and spiritual significance in Egypt. Alongside faience, Egyptian jewellery frequently incorporated prized natural stones like carnelian, deep Lapis Lazuli, and clear rock crystal. You will find the exact material, estimated age, dimensions, and condition of the beads detailed on every individual product page.

Designed and Handmade in the Netherlands

Every single bracelet is designed and made by hand in the Netherlands. We deliberately choose not to follow rigid, mass-produced patterns. Instead, every design blends to the unique character of the beads, allowing their natural variations and authentic signs of age to remain visible.

Wearing and Caring for Your Bracelet

Bracelets are naturally exposed to more movement and contact than other jewellery, meaning these ancient beads require thoughtful care. We highly recommend removing your bracelet before swimming, showering, sleeping, or engaging in household work. Protect the piece from direct contact with perfumes, cosmetics, and harsh chemicals, and store it separately to shield the delicate historical beads from scratches, unnecessary pressure, or accidental knocks.
