Description

Byzantine bronze ring featuring an oval bezel which is engraved with a Greek inscription in three horizontal lines. Broad shoulders with geometric decoration, tapering ring band.

Outside diameter: ± 19 mm

Inside diameter: ± 16,4 x 15,8 mm

Condition

Good condition, wearable with attractive smooth olive-green patina. The ring band is intact but slightly deformed from pressure conditions. Minor surface irregularities and signs of wear consistent with age and use.
