Keerzijde: Handje van Antwerpen, omringd door X'en.

Brass coin weight for weighing a Lion d'Or (1454-1466), struck under Philip the Good (1419-1467).

Obverse: Seated lion under Gothic archway.
Reverse: Hand of Antwerp, surrounded with X'es, all within border.

Weight: 3,66 grams

As of 1576, coin weight makers in the Low Countries were obliged to place the year of manufacture on the coin weights. This weight predates 1576.
