Merovingian silver-billon radiate-headed brooch / fibula. Semi-circular headplate with five rounded knob terminals and engraved scroll decoration. Two stylised bird-heads with outward-facing curved beaks at the junction of the ribbed bow and openwork footplate.

Size: ± 58,3 x 37,3 mm
Condition: good solid condition, pin and catchplate are no longer present. Dark patina and signs of wear consistent with age and use.
